Remembering Days Spent at St:George’s College Mussoorie

I recollect my young days,a way back early fifties,my memories with St George’s are still fresh. An Insitution of class, one used to feel proud to be the student of the college. In our times there used to be one class ,no sections strength remained twelve  to fifteen students in class.Close and friendly relation ship between staff and the students  existed which I feel is,necessary to build character traits to pass out as perfect gentlemen.

2 .Our class room used to be in the main building on ground floor as you enter on left side.Well our maths teacher Munshi Ji,an old father like personality strict in his dealing. We were tought physis by Mr Day and the chemistry by Mr Pandey, both pleasant but  kept the waitage in the business, there used to be never a  short cut for students except to learn In principle office Mr Joshi always kept his image. After noons were spent with Mr Wood pleasant personality who developed sport men spirit,Who always said wining is not important, the way you enjoyed the game ,or who you played. is matter. All being under supervision of the Head man Irish Principal Brother Ryon.,a tall personality,a strict watchman who kept the team united and in high spirit.
